Join us for a running clinic put on by Kyle Schnitger on Saturday, August 27th! Kyle comes to us as an experienced CrossFit coach and endurance coach and former/current endurance athlete. We’ll be running, doing some skills and drills and dialing in our pose running form and technique for more efficient races and WOD’s. Video analysis will be performed at a basic level with more to come when Trailhead CrossFit starts its very own CrossFit Endurance Team led by Kyle. We’ll look forward to seeing you all there.
The clinic will cost $20 per person. In addition to signing up for the clinic, new members to Trailhead CrossFit and Trailhead CrossFit Endurance will receive 50% off their first month of unlimited training!!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with CrossFit Endurance, CFE is based around the principles of CrossFit, tailored specifically around increasing efficiency and output during endurance events ranging from a basic 5k run up through Ironman events or century rides or runs. Through CrossFit workouts, strength training and endurance workouts, your form and posture will improve greatly to lower times in all of your events as well as lower your times and increase your output in the daily WOD’s!
As a high school athlete I ran cross country, played basketball, baseball and ran a little track. I stopped running and playing basketball all together to focus my attention on baseball earning a scholarship to play at a small school in Kansas. After baseball I coached and got out of shape. I found CrossFit about three years ago and CrossFit Endurance shortly after that. I had a desire to get back to competing, and realized that I had an urge to run again. I entered a 5k and began training myself using CF and CFE. I took second place in my age group and finished in the top 25 for the race. That was the beginning; since then I have completed my CrossFit Endurance Certification as well as my CrossFit Level 1 Certification. I compete in triathlons and trail running using only the methodology I have learned from these disciplines. I have trained people from the age of 18 – 51 for their first triathlon, half marathon and other running experiences successfully with some podium finishes in several age groups. I personally have finished no lower than 7th in my age group for any event I have entered using the programing and techniques I have learned.
I love training and helping others discover their potential and making sure that they exceed far beyond what they thought they were capable of doing. I enjoy learning more everyday and I love competing by challenging myself and the people I work with to go above and beyond.
